10th Anniversary of the Jesus Storybook Bible!

We can't sing loud enough praises for the Jesus Storybook Bible. This is most definitely our FAVORITE children's Bible.

This Bible has captured Ezra's heart. He loves to hear the stories....and the beautiful illustrations are so inspiring to me. Reading a story together has become something we do, almost daily. Its so important to me that we make the time [even while on vacation.....yes, these photos aren't from Montana....we were in Hawaii!] to get into Gods word. Im believing that these seeds of Truth will produce lasting fruit. We must make time for the things that are important.

If you have yet to purchase this for your little one......please do! It's a powerful tool as we raise up our little arrows.

To celebrate the 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the Jesus Storybook Bible.....we are hosting a giveaway over on our Instagram page. **Winner will be announced Monday, March 20th

Thank you Sally Lloyd Jones and Zondervan for publishing and making these wonderful books available to us. Forever thankful for all that you do.

Family Vacation

Twelve years of marriage [on March 19th] and six years of owning a brick and mortar shop and we finally took a real [non-work] vacation. Long overdue. I mean....where we are blessed to live is like a living vacation, but this is our getaway. This place is breathtaking. Day 1 has been a dream 🌺

She's Four Months Old

She's one of a kind & puts a smile on everyone's face. She is pure joy. Sister bird also broke in 2 bottom teeth! Growing so fast.....just trying to soak in every single moment.

GIVE ME A BEAR HUG

We have a huge, fluffy Goldendoodle dog named Bear. So, the minute Stella saw this book, she was in love already. Anything with Bears wins her little heart over.

We love this sweet bedtime book by Caroline B. Cooney! I'm Going To Give You A Bear Hug is such a playful and comforting bedtime book that imagines all the sweet ways a child might give + receive a hug.

Whether it’s a big bear, gasp for air, knock over a chair hug or a wet and drippy, slimy, slippy fish hug, [so cute!] Stella just laughed and said "awwww cuuuuute" the whole way through the book.

The simple & sweet rhymes are something Stella has begun to remember on her own. The "hug book" is a favorite that she carries around once it's bedtime. And what's fun is that the book comes in either the hardcover or boardbook style. So, it's perfect for any age! This particular book would make for such a sweet gift for your little one or a friend.

We treasure all the Zondervan books ... we only recommend them because their hearts are faith-based and focused which is what we joyfully welcome here at home.

A sweet collection of Christmas books

I really appreciate books like this, especially this time of year. Don't get me wrong....we love our share of Polar Express and Elf around the house, but these resources from ZonderKidz is such a blessing.  Theres so much grabbing for our attention during the holidays so having these sweet books around our house- in the play room and on our coffee table- has made it easy to protect moments through out the day as we head into Christmas.

I loved Goodnight Manger. Maybe because I am a new mom to baby #2 so I am very much in the newborn phase at the moment, but Ive always pictured the manger scene as quiet and peaceful. Thats the picture thats been painted in my mind all these years. But this book.....it paints a different picture and one that seems more accurate to me. Joseph and Mary are trying to get [and keep] baby Jesus asleep! Just imagine the chaos with animals involved....and a bed of hay thats NOT filled with down feathers! This just made me smile....and made this famous story in the Bible more relatable to me. I loved this line of the book....

Three kings knock at stable door. With royal pomp and gifts galore!

Christmas doesn't end around our house the day after Christmas.....as Ezra continues to be in awe and wonder of his new toys.....we'll be diving into activity books and continue to read stories about Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas.
